Clive Galeni has the only GUI solution I could find called AntiInline. If you open the same mail (IMAP) on a client running Outlook 2011 or Apples mail app, then the attachments are visible, also when you forward the message in. If they pay for excess bandwidth usage, it also may cost them more to download large attachments.
